  • Pipes hydroforming

    It is possible to hydroform also pipes. By this technology designers will not face any limits to their creativity. Now it is possible to obtain some shapes that before could have been obtained only by processes such as melting.

    In hydroforming cycle it is possible to drill the components by high pressure water punch.Cycle time is extremely quick and however does not change by increasing the number of holes to be made. All the holes are made at the same time.

  • SLC 10400 - Elastoforming

    SLC series is a very versatile machine. As a matter of fact it can be equipped for traditional drawing, hydroforming and also for ELASTOFORMING. This process is very similar to hydroforming, but you draw using a punch and a matrix of plastic material. For this reason this technique results to be very useful if holes are already present in the starting metal sheet and/or you do not want any crop but just metal sheet already flat pre-cut .

  • SLC 6000 â HYDROFORMING

    In the HYDROFORMING process metal sheet is plastically deformed thanks to the action of a fluid (water or oil) which exercises a hydrostatic pressure on such metal sheet.

    The final shape of the hydroformed piece is determined by the contact with the fluid on one side, while on the other side it is determined by the contact with half a die. Compared to the traditional drawing technology foreseeing the aid of a punch, of a blankholder and of a matrix, hydroforming process needs only using one part of the traditional die.

    Economical advantage deriving from this technology permit to cut the costs.

  • TDS 8000 Accessories

    TDS series foresees a series of accessories which are useful for some specific machining and specially if some extreme accuracy and repeatability are necessary in extremely reduced working times, reducing so to the minimum the number of heatings required for the materials which are machined.

  • TDS 8000 - Hot Forging

    The new Muraro TDS Series has been especially studied for the hot forging of the components medium and large sized. The force of such machines ranges from 20.000 kN to 500.000 kN. The new series differs from the traditional presses as far as their plant concept and philosophy are concerned. The Muraro huge experience in this sector brought by a remarkable improvement and special devices which strongly characterize the whole new TDS series.

  • TDS 8000 high performances

    You will immediately note the benefits during the production of forged components, it is possible to forge at elevated speeds, in an absolutely controlled manner, and to obtain the continuous thermic support to the piece which is being forged, so that the thermic losses of the material which is being machined are fed and longer forging times are obtained before it is needed to resume heating in oven.

Hydroforming in view of the Future

Last novelties form Muraro consist of having set up the newest Hydroforming technology by a thecnics particularly able to reduce drastically the cost of dies first of all as fas as the bodyworks of CARS, VANS and LORRIES are concerned. The cost of the dies are reduced of 60/70% if compared to the traditional systems and as a consequence also the cost of the drawed products has been reduced.

The presses having an elevated ton power from i.e. ton. 10'000 upwards are dedicated to Elastoforming and to Hydroforming thanks to a new technology for the realization of the principal structure characterized by big steel rings milled in a single piece.

The above allowed for a massive saving equal to about 60% if compared to the traditional values.
